Air drops of aid to resume in Gaza, Israeli official tells AFP

Aid drops of aid over Gaza will resume soon, an Israeli official on Friday told news agency AFP.

"Humanitarian aid air drops on the Gaza Strip will resume in the upcoming days. They will be managed by the UAE and Jordan," the official told AFP.

The enclave is severely short of food and essential supplies as Israel has blocked all aid and killed over 1,000 Palestinian aid seekers.

At least 115 Palestinians have starved to death in the enclave due to the Israeli-imposed blockade so far.
