Ben-Gvir welcomes Gaza power cut

Far-right former Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir has applauded the government's move to cut power to Gaza.

“I welcome the power cut to Gaza and the sector must be plunged into complete darkness immediately as long as there are still Israeli captives,” Ben-Gvir said, adding that Israel should "bomb the massive fuel storage that entered the sector as part of the miserable [ceasefire] deal.”

Ben-Gvir, who resigned from his cabinet position in January over the ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas, has repeatedly called for Israel to resume its attacks on Gaza and to cut aid supplies to the enclave.
