Child killed by Israeli forces in Ramallah was shot in chest, left to bleed out: Report

The 13-year-old Palestinian boy killed by Israeli forces in Ramallah earlier on Saturday had been shot in the chest, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society.

Emergency medics attempted to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation on the child, identified as Mohammad Khaled Zaid. He was then transported to Ramallah public hospital in critical condition, where he succumbed to his wounds, PRCS said.

The child was shot near Jalazon refugee camp, located north of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank.

Official Wafa news agency said that he was left bleeding for about an hour before the incident was reported by Israeli forces, and he was handed over to Palestinian ambulance services.
