EU imposes sanctions on five far-right Israeli activists

The European Union has sanctioned Israeli far-right activists Bentzi Gopstein and Baruch Marzel, according to a report by Israeli journalist, Barak Ravid.

Gopstein, a close associate of Israeli Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gvir, was sanctioned for leading the extremist organisation Lehava. Marzel faced sanctions for advocating the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians.

Additionally, the European Union announced sanctions on the Tzav 9 organisation for obstructing aid trucks to Gaza.

Sanctions were also imposed on settlers Zvi Bar Yosef, Moshe Sharvit, and Isaschar Manne, as well as on the illegal outposts "Moshe's Farm" and "Zvi's Farm" due to their involvement in violence against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.
