Gaza health ministry: 40 Palestinians killed and 218 wounded in 24 hours

Forty Palestinians have been killed, and 218 others injured in the last 24 hours, Gaza's health ministry has said. 

The latest figures bring the death toll of Palestinians killed by Israeli forces in Gaza since 7 October to 37,124, with 84,712 injured.
