Houthis target Israel with missile, condemn Gaza war

Yemen’s Houthi movement claims to have struck a "military target" near Tel Aviv with a hypersonic ballistic missile, their military spokesman Yahya Saree announced in a televised address.

Saree declared the operation a success, though Israel reported intercepting the missile before it entered its airspace.

The Houthis have intensified their attacks in response to Israel’s ongoing war in Gaza. They have also targeted shipping lanes in the Red Sea, describing these operations as part of their efforts to pressure Israel into halting its war against Palestinians in Gaza.
