Hundreds of Israeli settlers storm Al-Aqsa Mosque complex

Witnesses described these actions as provocative and a violation of an agreement that reserves prayer rights at the site exclusively for Muslims.

Meanwhile, Israeli police reportedly barred Palestinians from entering the Old City in occupied East Jerusalem, cutting off access to Al-Aqsa Mosque.
