Iran says no radioactive leakage detected at targeted nuclear site

The Atomic Energy Organisation of Iran says that no radioactive or chemical leakage has been detected at the Natanz nuclear site, which was targeted by an Israeli attack this morning.

It reported in a statement that the site was damaged, but added that there had been no reports of casualties yet.

It said investigations to determine the extent of the damage were underway.

The organisation further condemned global nuclear watchdog the International Atomic Energy Agency for failing to intervene amid repeated Israeli threats against the country's nuclear infrastructure.
