Iran's Revolutionary Guard says US on 'front line of aggression'
Iran’s Revolutionary Guard on Sunday said the United States has placed itself “at the front line of aggression” by launching strikes on what it called peaceful nuclear facilities.
In a statement reported by Reuters, the Guard vowed that "invaders" must now “await responses that will bring regret,” adding that the operation to retaliate would continue “with precision, intent and force” targeting infrastructure and strategic centres in Israel.
Iran dismissed the effectiveness of the strikes, asserting that its indigenous and peaceful nuclear programme “cannot be destroyed by any attack.”
It also called US military bases in the region a “point of vulnerability, not strength.”
The Guard further stated that the flight paths of the aircraft involved in the assault had been identified and were under surveillance, while rejecting intimidation by what it described as the “criminal gangs ruling the White House and Tel Aviv.”
