Iraq, Iran deliver medical supplies to Beirut

An Iraqi military plane arrived at Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport this morning, bringing medical supplies to support hospitals grappling with the influx of injured from yesterday's pager explosions, Lebanon's National News Agency (NNA) reported.

Lebanon’s Health Minister, Firas al-Abyad, received the supplies, according to the NNA.

In addition, a medical relief team from Iran’s Red Crescent has arrived in Lebanon to aid victims of the pager attack.

Iranian media, including Iran’s Tasnim Agency, reports that the delegation comprises the president of the Iranian Red Crescent Society, along with 12 doctors and 12 nurses and paramedics.
