Israel attack on Evin Prison killed employees and visiting family members

Iran's judiciary has revealed that several employees and visiting family members died in Israel's attack on Evin Prison, according to a report in Iranian state media.

Authorities in Iran previously reported deaths at the facility, but had not given further details.

Part of the notorious jail, which is located in a northern neighbourhood of the capital Tehran and houses many political prisoners, was hit in an Israeli strike on Monday.
