Israel is establishing ‘a terrifying precedent for a nation state to set’

"The government of Israel is repeatedly demonstrating to the world – this time in the designated safe area of al-Mawasi, and yesterday in a school housing civilians in Nuseirat – that it is willing to kill innocent men, women, and children to achieve its goals,” the British-headquartered charity Islamic Relief said on Monday.

"The brutal killing and wounding of hundreds of civilians in Gaza over the last few days sets a terrifying precedent for a nation-state. The siege and killing in Gaza must end,” it added.

The international charity demanded an end to civilian casualties and called for aid to be allowed to flow back into the enclave in quantities sufficient to halt the spreading of famine.
