Israeli forces continue to forcibly displace Palestinians in Khan Younis

Israeli forces have expanded their forcible evacuation orders to additional areas of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.

According to the Wafa news agency, the Israeli military on Sunday instructed displaced families in parts of northern and central Khan Younis to leave immediately. This marks the third evacuation order in the city within a week, as Israel ramps up its military offensive in the southern part of the enclave.

At the same time as the evacuation order, Israeli air strikes reportedly targeted Khan Younis and its surrounding areas. 

Israel's war on Gaza has killed at least 39,790 Palestinians in the besieged enclave since 7 October.
