Israel leaves at least 320 Palestinians dead or wounded within 48 hours

At least 320 Palestinians have been killed or wounded and brought to hospitals throughout the besieged enclave, the Government Media Office in Gaza reported.

Healthcare officials said that many of the casualties suffered third-degree burns inflicted by internationally banned weapons, such as thermal bombs.

“These weapons cause chemical substances to interact with the skin, leading to direct chemical corrosion of tissues in the bodies of the victims. They also cause severe pain,” the statement said.

The office noted that many of those injured by such weapons die within a day, and it accused the US of being fully responsible for arming Israel, leading to the “massacres” committed by Israeli forces in the Gaza Strip.
