Israeli soldiers have retreated after reaching their deepest point in Lebanon since invading six weeks ago.
The retreat follows battles with Hezbollah fighters.
Israeli soldiers captured a hill in the southern village of Chamaa, five kilometres from the Israeli border, earlier on Saturday.
They blew up several homes and the Shrine of Shimon the Prophet, according to local media, but then retreated from the position.
Seven people have been killed and 65 wounded in Israeli attacks on Lebanon in the past 24 hours, according to Lebanon's health ministry.
Israeli air strikes have targeted the Dahiyeh, Haret Hreik and Chiyah areas in southern Beirut. This is the fifth consecutive day that Israel has bombed Lebanon's capital.
