Israeli committee backs bill easing Jewish purchase of West Bank land

Israel's Foreign Affairs and Defence Committee approved a bill that would make it easier for Jewish people to purchase land in the occupied West Bank, moving it to a first reading in the parliament, Haaretz reported.

Four Knesset members supported the proposal, and there were no opponents.
