Israeli media: US ‘pleased’ with strike killing Hezbollah commander

Israeli media on Sunday reported that the US is “pleased” with Israel’s strike that killed Hezbollah military commander Haytham Ali Tabatabai.
“We are pleased with the elimination of the number two in Hezbollah. We think it’s a wonderful thing," Israeli Channel 12 quoted a US official as saying.
Lebanese media confirmed the killing of Hezbollah military commander Haytham Ali Tabatabai in the attack.
