Israeli military to permit foreign governments to carry out Gaza aid drops

The Israeli military on Friday announced it would allow for foreign governments to carry out Gaza aid drops from the sky to feed Palestinians it has starved. 

Israel has imposed a total siege on Gaza since March, and has not allowed the United Nations to distribute food aid there. 

Parachuted aid drops can begin immediately, the Israeli military said.
