Israeli prime minister’s office confirms identity of captive’s body as Hadar Goldin

The Israeli Prime Minister’s Office confirms that the remains of a captive’s body received from Hamas belong to Israeli soldier Hadar Goldin.
In a post on X, Shlomo Karhi, Israel’s communication minister, said Goldin’s return was the “closing of the circle”, as he had been captured back in 2014.
