Israeli ceasefire proposal crosses ‘red lines’: Hamas to Al-Araby Al-Jadeed

Hamas leadership has said that its internal assessement indicates that the recent round of negotiations in Cairo have failed, according to Al-Araby Al-Jadeed.

They added that the Israeli proposal, which calls for Hamas' disarmament as a condition for a permanent ceasefire, violates the movement's "red lines."

"The resistance's weapons are a red line," one source told Al-Araby Al-Jadeed.

The source also said that the proposal fails to ensure an end to the war on Gaza and the complete withdrawal of Israeli forces.

According to the report, the Israeli proposal was rejected unanimously by all Palestinian resistance groups.
