Israeli settlers attack farmers in village near Bethlehem

Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian farmers in Arab al-Rashayida, a village south of Bethlehem.

Palestinians tried to ward off the assault before the Israeli army fired tear gas to disperse them.

Elsewhere in the West Bank, settlers, under the protection of the Israeli army, also attacked Palestinian farmers in the town of Beita and cut down dozens of olive trees in the village of Jurish, south of Nablus.
