Israeli settlers torch Palestinian property in Hebron

Israeli settlers, backed by occupation forces, set fire to an agricultural structure in Abu Shaban village, east of Yatta, south of Hebron in the occupied West Bank.

Osama Makhamreh, an activist opposing Israel’s settler expansion in Masafer Yatta, told the Palestinian media outlets Wafa that armed settlers, under military protection, torched the property of Ali Ayesh Qaraish and scrawled racist slogans on it.

Makhamreh added that this is part of a sustained effort to drive Palestinians from Masafer Yatta. Days earlier, settlers burned another resident's vehicle, daubed his home with racist graffiti, and attempted to storm another family's residence.
