Israelis demand release of woman accused of throwing sand at Ben Gvir

Around 20 Israelis have staged a demonstration outside the Neve Tirza women’s prison in the central Israeli city of Ramla, to demand the release of Noa Goldenberg, accused of throwing sand at National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir in Tel Aviv, Israeli media is reporting.

Goldenberg, 27, was "documented being led out of the Lev police station in Tel Aviv on Saturday evening, handcuffed by her hands and feet", according to Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth.

Protesters were heard denouncing Ben Gvir as a "murderer" and that he was "responsible of the death of prisoners".
