Lebanese Civil Defence recovers bodies and injured in southern Lebanon

Lebanon's Civil Defence has said its emergency teams are recovering the dead and wounded from the rubble after the overnight Israeli strikes targeting Ras al-Ain, Nabatieh and western Beqaa.

It said its teams recovered 15 bodies and two wounded people from Ras al-Ain, adding that they are still searching for missing people under the rubble.

Rescuers also pulled two wounded people from the rubble in Nabatieh city, with another body and three wounded people recovered in the town of Shamar, in the western Beqaa District.

In Beirut, teams worked to extinguish fires in the city's southern suburbs and in the Saint Therese area, following Israeli strikes two days ago.
