Lebanon PM claims Israel is rejecting ceasefire efforts

Lebanon’s caretaker Prime Minister, Najib Mikati, accused Israel of turning down ceasefire proposals following renewed air strikes on southern Beirut.

He condemned the Israeli military’s attacks, stating that the bombings in Beirut’s southern suburbs and other regions “confirm the Israeli enemy’s rejection of all efforts being made to secure a ceasefire”.
