US to permanently dismantle ‘aid pier’ in Gaza after successive failures

The US military will temporarily reinstall a pier in Gaza on Wednesday to facilitate the delivery of humanitarian aid.
The pier will be used for a few days to allegdly transport aid accumulated in Cyprus and on a nearby floating dock to a secure area on the Gaza beach, according to multiple US officials, the AP reported.
After this, the pier will be dismantled, and the US will leave.
