  • Ceasefire talks between Hamas and Israel gain momentum. The New York Times, citing informed sources, reported progress in negotiations over a ceasefire and prisoner release, though details remain unclear

  • The Yemeni Houthi group announced it had struck a "sensitive target" south of Jaffa with a drone

  • The White House confirmed that President Joe Biden and Jordan's King Abdullah II discussed the situation in Gaza, focusing on achieving a ceasefire, the release of captives and increasing humanitarian aid
