Here are the latest updates:

  • A delegation from Hamas landed in Cairo on Sunday morning. A senior official from the group told AFP a ceasefire could be secured "within 24 to 48 hours" if Israel agrees to its demands
  • Two more children died of hunger in northern Gaza's Kamal Adwan Hospital, bringing the total to 15. Authorities warn that six more children in the hospital are at risk of death from starvation.
  • An Israeli raid on Rafah killed 14 Palestinians, including six children.
  • Israeli opposition MP and Yisrael Beiteinu leader Avigdor Liberman said the present government has "no right to exist" and called for early elections.
  • The UN Palestinian refugee agency said the Gaza war has recorded a higher number of deaths for aid workers and journalists than any other conflict.
