Good morning Middle East Eye readers, here some are the latest updates on Israel's war on Gaza:

Israeli forces are pounding Gaza with relentless air strikes, killing at least 43 Palestinians since Sunday morning. Medics on the ground report that makeshift shelters were among the targets, burying families under rubble.

  • Forced evacuations: Israel’s military has ordered Palestinians in five Deir el-Balah neighbourhoods to flee after intercepting rockets fired toward Ashdod and Ashkelon. Hamas’s Qassam Brigades claimed responsibility, calling it payback for Israel’s "mass killings" in Gaza.

  • West Bank execution: Israeli troops shot dead a 14-year-old Palestinian-American boy near Turmus Aya.

  • US attacks Yemen: American forces bombed Yemen’s capital, Sanaa, killing at least four people, Houthi rebels say.

  • Lebanon under fire: Israel also struck southern Lebanon, levelling parts of Zibqin and killing two—a week after a raid on Beirut.
