Israeli forces are pounding Gaza with relentless air strikes, killing at least 43 Palestinians since Sunday morning. Medics on the ground report that makeshift shelters were among the targets, burying families under rubble.

Forced evacuations: Israel’s military has ordered Palestinians in five Deir el-Balah neighbourhoods to flee after intercepting rockets fired toward Ashdod and Ashkelon. Hamas’s Qassam Brigades claimed responsibility, calling it payback for Israel’s "mass killings" in Gaza.
