Over 3,500 children under five 'face imminent death by starvation' in Gaza

Over 35,000 children under the age of five in Gaza face imminent death by starvation, the enclave's Government Media Office said in a statement.
It added that over 70,000 children across the territory are being hospitalised due to severe malnutrition amid Israel's total blockade on the strip.
“At a time when 1.1 million children daily lack the minimum nutritional requirements for survival, this crime is being perpetrated by the ‘Israeli’ occupation using starvation as a weapon, amid shameful international silence,” the statement said.
