Over 50 killed, 200 wounded in Israeli strike targeting aid seekers in Gaza

More than 50 people have been killed and at least 200 wounded after Israeli forces struck a crowd of civilians seeking aid near Khan Younis, according to a source at Nasser Medical Complex who spoke to Al Jazeera Arabic.

The attack took place in the eastern part of the southern Gaza city, where displaced residents had reportedly gathered in hopes of receiving humanitarian assistance.

Medical staff say the hospital is overwhelmed by the influx of casualties.
