Palestinian group claims responsibility for attack on Israel from Lebanon

Haaretz has reported that a Palestinian group in Lebanon called the "Alez al-Islami" brigade has claimed responsibility for entering Israel through the Mount Dov region on Sunday. 

The group confirmed the three gunmen killed by Israel on Sunday morning were killed on the spot by Israeli forces by an unmanned drone. 

Alez al Islami said it staged the attack in response to the targeted assassination of senior Hamas officials in Lebanon.
