Palestinian journalists demand ICC action after Israeli strike kills reporter

The Palestinian Journalists Syndicate has denounced an Israeli attack near Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, which burned a journalist alive and left nine others wounded.

In a statement, the syndicate condemned what it called a “horrific and heinous massacre” against reporters sheltering in a tent in the hospital courtyard.

Helmi al-Faqawi, a journalist with Palestine Today TV, was killed after being trapped inside as the tent went up in flames.

The syndicate has urged the International Criminal Court to take immediate action and called on the UN Security Council to intervene without delay.
