Palestinian ministry condemns Israeli tank deployment in West Bank

In a statement on X, the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs denounced Israel’s deployment of tanks in the occupied West Bank, calling it part of its ongoing campaign of “genocide, displacement, and annexation.”
The ministry described the move, along with the forced expulsion of 40,000 Palestinians and Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz’s declaration that they would not be allowed to return, as a “grave escalation”.
“The ministry renews its urgent calls on the international community to intervene immediately to curb Israel’s unchecked aggression,” the statement read.
