State Department says humanitarian situation in Gaza still deteriorating

The US State Department said the humanitarian situation in Gaza is continuing to deteriorate and urged Israel to do more to allow sustained humanitarian access to the Strip.

State Department deputy spokesperson Vedant Patel said Washington remained concerned that the flow of fuel into Gaza via Rafah crossing has "come to a complete halt."
