UN urges Israel to stop Jenin attack, says 'deeply concerned' about humanitarian situation

The UN urged Israel on Friday to stop its bloody assault on Jenin in the occupied West Bank, saying it was "deeply concerned" by the humanitarian toll. 

“Nearly all of Jenin refugee camp’s 20,000 residents have been displaced over the past two months in the context of security operations, both by the Palestinian Authority and the Israeli security forces,” United Nations spokesman Stephane Dujarri said.
