UN warns of ‘desperate’ situation as Israel’s siege starves Gaza

For more than a month, Israel has blocked life-saving aid from reaching Gaza, leaving the territory on the brink of catastrophe. The UN agency for Palestinian refugees, Unrwa, says it is still distributing what little remains—but supplies are vanishing fast.

“The siege must end, and humanitarian aid must be allowed back in,” the agency declared on X, warning that stocks are “getting low and the situation is becoming desperate.”
