Unicef: 19,000 unaccompanied children in Gaza

There are an estimated 19,000 unaccompanied children in Gaza as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression in the enclave, a Unicef spokesperson said on Saturday.

Kazem Abu Khalaf said that "the number of unaccompanied children in Gaza is a purely estimated number, because we cannot accurately determine the numbers", adding that the figure included children who had been separated from their parents by displacement, or whose parents had died.
