The UN agency for Palestinian refugees (Unrwa) said it is ready to roll out a polio vaccination campaign in Gaza but emphasised that its success depends on humanitarian pauses.
The agency and its partners are preparing to vaccinate 650,000 children in the war-torn enclave.
In a post on X, Unrwa said that the deteriorating conditions caused by the ongoing war have “fuelled the spread of disease across the Gaza Strip".
