Unrwa reopens health facility in southern Gaza’s Khan Younis

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (Unrwa) has reopened a health centre in Khan Younis, southern Gaza, following severe damage it sustained in January, as reported on X.

Unrwa emphasised that this facility is vital as there are no other health centres nearby, crucial for supporting displaced families who have returned seeking shelter in the area.

In recent days, Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis had to suspend services due to fuel shortages, leaving only one partially operational hospital in southern Gaza.
