Unrwa warns of imminent collapse of humanitarian aid in Gaza

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (Unrwa) warned that its humanitarian operations in Gaza are on the brink of collapse.

The agency emphasised that finding a replacement would be extremely difficult and argued that Israel should prioritise a ceasefire and peace efforts over targeting Unrwa.

Unicef stated that without its operation in Gaza, it will be unable to distribute life-saving supplies, calling the ban a "new way to kill children".

On Monday, the Israeli Knesset passed a bill banning Unrwa from operating within Israel, despite opposition from the United States and the United Nations
