US military launches attack on western Yemen

The US military has bombed a number of sites in western Yemen's Hodeidah region, claiming them to be missile launch platforms for the Ansar Allah group, commonly known as the Houthis. 

The news is being reported by both local media and the Al-Arabiya news channel, in the early hours of Tuesday morning, local time.
