US official warns of Gaza famine risk

Washington's special regional envoy for humanitarian issues warned on Tuesday that the risk of famine in Gaza, particularly in the north, is "very high".

David Satterfield told reporters that Israel must maximise efforts to prevent a famine and urged increased aid distribution, especially in Gaza's northern region.
