‘World cannot abandon’ Gaza’s children: Unicef chief

The Unicef Executive Director Catherine Russell said on Friday  “the situation for children in Gaza grows bleaker every day”.

She called on the international community not to let the children of the war-torn enclave down.

“The world cannot abandon them,” she wrote on X, sharing a Unicef statement from earlier in the week.
