WHO documents 'unprecedented' attacks on Palestinian healthcare workers in West Bank

Since 7 October, the World Health Organization (WHO) has documented an "unprecedented number of attacks" on Palestinian healthcare workers in the occupied West Bank.

A total of 236 attacks were recorded, which included killings, obstructing treatment, the use of force against healthcare workers, and the detention of health staff or ambulances.

Six Palestinian healthcare workers have been killed in the West Bank since 7 October, according to the WHO.

WHO has documented an unprecedented number of attacks on health care in the West Bank in the past two months, since 7 October 2023.
