Biden can end Israeli offensive 'with one phone call', says US congressman

US Congressman Ro Khanna said in a tweet on Monday that President Joe Biden has the power to end the ongoing Israeli offensive on Gaza with "one phone call".

This is not the time for platitudes.

Children are dying and Netanyahu is out there saying that he is doing this with the United States’ support.

In an interview with MSNBC earlier on Monday, Khanna issued a harsh rebuke at the administration for not explicitly demanding a ceasefire.

"If the president today calls up Prime Minister [Benjamin] Netanyahu and says a ceasefire needs to happen, a ceasefire will happen," he said.
