British-Israeli academic Avi Shlaim on anti-Zionism and antisemitism

In an event organised by International Centre of Justice for Palestinians (ICJP) about the war on Gaza, Professor Avi Shlaim a British historian of Iraqi-jew descent explains the difference between anti-zionism and anti-semitism.
Shlaim talked about how Israel and its allies often conflate the two terms to rebuke any criticism of their policies and actions.
He was speaking at an ICJP event, which also included Daniel Levy, a former Israeli negotiator atthe Oslo Accords, Wadah Khanfar, the head of the Al-Sharq Forum and former director-general of Al Jazeera, and Yasmine Ahmed, director of Human Rights Watch.
The event was moderated by Middle East Eye's Mohamed Hassan.
