Division head and army major among Israeli soldiers killed

The Israeli military has confirmed more high-ranking officers have been killed by Palestinian fighters.
They include a lieutenant colonel who headed a communication division as well as a major who was the deputy of head of the elite Maglan unit.
The commander of the Nahal brigade, the army's main infantry brigade, was also confirmed dead earlier on Saturday.
The military released the names of at least 26 soldiers who have been confirmed dead so far, with the numbers likely to rise.
