Israel to halt electricity, fuel, and goods transfer to Gaza

Israel's security cabinet said it decided to cut off the supply of electricity, fuel, and the transfer of goods to Gaza, according to several Israeli news outlets.
The decision was aimed at "destroying the military and governmental capabilities of Hamas".
"We have started the offensive formation and will continue without reservation and without respite until the goals are achieved," Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said after the security cabinet's meeting concluded.
