Israeli forces open fire on demonstrators

Israeli forces have opened live fire on Palestinian demonstrators near the border line in the northern and eastern Gaza Strip, according to the official Palestinian Authority news agency Wafa.
Meanwhile, Gaza medical services have been on alert since the morning and hospitals have pre-emptively declared a state of emergency ahead of the protests, an MEE correspondent in Gaza reported.
East of Gaza City, Israeli forces had already begun firing tear gas in the morning.
